Job interview Tips

In an interview, the HR asked the candidate, "What is your current salary?"

The candidate responded, "It's 7.5 LPA."

HR: "What are your salary expectations?"

Candidate: "Since I believe I am not in a good environment in my current company, I am willing to accept a lower package as well."

HR: "If we offer you 5 LPA, will you join?"

Candidate: "Yes, I have no other option."

HR: "Great, wait for a few minutes, let us draft your offer letter. You need to sign immediately to secure this job."

Candidate: "Okay."

The HR returned with an envelope containing some documents, and handed over the offer letter to the candidate to sign.

Candidate: "Oh, it's for 10 LPA. You said you were offering 5 LPA."

HR: "Then what would be the difference between an ill-cultured company and a company with a healthy culture? Our budget was 10 LPA for this position, and you were the best-suited candidate. Welcome to our team."

HR is happy, and the candidate feels like they're out of this world.
